Summer is traditionally a time for travel and long-awaited holidays. We know many of you have been eagerly counting down the days to re-visit Gozo or experience its beauty for the first time this summer. Yet, we also understand that growing concern around jet fuel shortages and the possibility of resulting flight cancellations may be dampening the anticipation surrounding your upcoming trip.

At Baron Holiday Homes, we want to ascertain your peace of mind during this period of uncertainty and are pleased to introduce our temporary Flexible Travel Credit Policy. Under this policy, prospective holidaymakers who have already paid for their accommodation may benefit from travel credit should travel from the country of origin of their trip become restricted due to airspace closures, significant flight disruptions, or mass cancellations by their airline resulting from ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The travel credit will be equal to the payment already made and will remain valid for 13 months from the original arrival date, giving you ample time to re-book your holiday when travel conditions are more favourable. This policy is applicable for all 2026 bookings.

While we shall endeavour to make any cancellations as stress-free and straightforward as possible for our guests, we shall assess cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis and provide the necessary guidance regarding any supporting documents that may need to be provided in order for a guest to benefit from the Flexible Travel Credit Policy.

Kindly note that travel credit is not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.

We remain committed to monitoring the ongoing situation and reviewing the terms and conditions of our Flexible Travel Credit Policy should the need arise to provide greater flexibility and peace of mind for our guests.

While we sincerely hope your trip goes ahead as planned and we have the pleasure of welcoming you to the beautiful island of Gozo soon, we remain available to answer any questions you may have regarding your upcoming stay with us.
