Visitors to Gozo are often surprised at the variety of things to do and see on our island. Yes, Gozo is a small Mediterranean island but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for with its vibrant cultural calendar and a host of natural and historical attractions.

We’ve noticed that our guests never seem to get tired of Gozo. During their first Gozo holiday they realise that they may not be able to see and do everything they want to – which is why many people come and stay with us time and time again.

At Baron Holiday Homes we don’t just offer our guests great holiday rental homes on Gozo – we strive to help our guests make the most of their well-earned holiday.

Gozo – Beaches & Bays:

Visitors have quite a few options when it comes to a day at the beach. Whether you’re a family and want a safe sandy beach for your children to enjoy, or you want to go explore some caves, or go snorkelling just offshore, there’s something for everyone.

Gozo – Historic Sites:

Gozo’s fascinating history can be seen everywhere. The Neolithic Ġgantija Temple complex is older than Stonehenge. And the high ramparts of Victoria’s Citadella attest to the times when our island was ruled by the Knights of Malta.

Gozo – Local Food:

Most visitors develop a taste for our local Gozitan cuisine and we can’t blame them. Our fresh produce is bursting with Mediterranean flavour and our local dishes represent a unique blend of African, Sicilian and French influences – reflecting our island’s rich history.

Gozo – Towns & Villages:

Most people on Gozo still follow a traditional way of life and are extremely welcoming towards visitors. Each of Gozo’s villages and the capital Victoria have something special to offer the visitor and we recommend you take time to explore them.

So, why not browse our new webpage on your laptop, tablet or smartphone as you relax in your Baron Holiday Home? We hope it will give you some ideas on planning your Gozo holiday itinerary.
