Baron Holiday Homes doesn’t just offer a range of high quality self-catering apartments, villas and farmhouses. And our services don’t end when you start your holiday on Gozo. Another important element of the Baron Experience is our range of in-house services, designed to help you to really enjoy your stay and make it extra special and memorable.
Local knowledge, local service
Everyone who works for Baron Holiday Homes lives on Gozo. We are not just agents renting out properties from a remote location. We all live on the island and this local knowledge helps us provide a truly local service. We know our properties and the island inside out. And we have personally recruited all our maids and maintenance people.
We understand that you don’t always want to be out and about in Gozo. Sometimes you want to simply chill-out by the pool. You may not want to cook dinner every night. And if you have small children, you may want to get out for a quiet supper knowing they are being safely looked after.

Book your own private chef
We have teamed up with a local chef who can come to your rental property and prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner or a special celebration meal – whatever you want. She cooks a wide range of dishes using local, seasonal ingredients and is happy to prepare some traditional Gozitan specialities. She can also cater for special diets such as gluten free , on request.
This service is especially useful on those days when you’ve been out all day and don’t want the hassle of shopping for and cooking dinner. It can also be useful if you have a birthday or other celebration while on holiday with us in Gozo. (See also Champagne surprise below.)
The private chef service is especially good value for large family groups. We recently had a large group comprising five adults and six children stay with us. They booked the private chef every day, leaving them free to spend time with each other.
Chill out with a massage
Sunbathing by the pool is lovely but having a full body massage can be an even better way to relax. With our Baron Body Massages and Facials service, you have a choice of a masseur or masseuse. Simply book via our website and they will bring their own special massage bed and equipment. You can choose to have the massage by the pool, or in the shade indoors, away from the children. Soothe away any aches after a day’s strenuous hiking, swimming or diving. Alternatively, a massage is a great way to start your holiday on Gozo to help you unwind and get into the holiday mood.
Relaxation therapy
If you’re looking for something more than a simple massage, then you can book a session with our Hawaiian Massage practitioner who will come to your property. Lomi Lomi Nui is an ancient purifying technique to nurture the body, mind and spirit. We’re looking into offering other types of relaxation treatments and therapies at our properties.
Exercise the mind and body with yoga
If you’ve always wanted to try doing some yoga, or already practise regularly, you may wish to book a private yoga and meditation session at your rental property. Beginners and general sessions are available for groups and for individuals led by fully qualified yoga teachers. You can book this service via the website. Just let us know when you book if you need us to provide a yoga mat, or if you are bringing your own.
Champagne surprise
If your holiday on Gozo coincides with a special date – a birthday or perhaps an anniversary – let us know and we can help you surprise a loved one by having a bottle of chilled champagne, a bouquet of flowers, and a card delivered. You may want to organise this just to celebrate the start of a wonderful holiday in Gozo!
Welcome Food Pack
There are three large supermarkets on Gozo which stay open every day until 10.00pm so there’s normally no problem getting groceries for your stay at one of Baron Holiday Homes’ self-catering properties
However, if you know you’ll be arriving at our property late and don’t particularly want to do the shopping straight away, you can order one of our Welcome Food Packs to be delivered prior to your arrival. When you order from the website (link), simply choose food items from our Food Pack Menu. It’s one less thing to think about.
Standard service
A maid service and 24-hour maintenance service are both provided as standard when you book a Gozo property with Baron Holiday Homes. Please see or FAQ section on our website for full details.
Airport transfers
We can also organise airport transfers to Gozo. Our driver will meet you on arrival and travel with you on the ferry to your holiday home on Gozo, saving you time and hassle. Often our guests prefer to have a few days to settle in and we can then arrange for a hire car to be delivered direct to your holiday home so booking a transfer can even save you money if you only want to hire a car for some of your stay.
